Joshua Tree National Park, Day 2

Our second day in Joshua Tree National Park began at Hidden Valley where we had hiked the previous day.  We were there just after sunrise and hiked the same trail through the valley, after which we had our breakfast on a picnic table near the parking area.

After leaving Hidden Valley we headed for the trail to Wall Street Mill, stopping to photograph some wildflowers on the way.  From the parking area for the Wall Street Mill and Barker Dam trails we went to the mill, an old gold mining site.  From Barker Dam we headed south on the Pinto Basin Road, stopping once again at Ocotillo Grove and leaving the park through the south entrance, heading on to Anza-borrego Desert Park.
