We have been in the Redlands, California, area a number of times recently staying with friends. I lived and worked there for a summer as a teenager and it has been nice to be back. We especially enjoy being there in the spring when the temperatures are moderate and the citrus trees are full of fruit. There is nothing like a freshly picked orange or grapefruit.
One of the places we've visited while in Redlands is Oak Glen. We've enjoyed the flowers, the hiking and the restaurant there.
On one of our visits I hiked the Zanja Peak trail in Yucaipa with its wonderful views of the San Bernardino Mountains and the San Bernardino Valley.
